Unique SUMMER

You know… I’ve never seen ’swimswear’ fashion  being shoot in this unique way (honest! u may call me S-L-O-W). It’s really interesting. IF i come out with a theme party beside a pool, I might consider asking people to wear their swimwear in a very “CUSTOM-LOOK-A-LIKE” way. No need to be nude as if you really gonna swim… Just model around the pool and “show me what you got”!!!!

My head is filled with ideas now…hmmm… the creative directors really impressed me to the max. Anyway, just  sharing good things to you, folks…. I got no comment in photography technical stuffs, but in Fashion wise, THIS IS REALLY COOL UNDERNEATH THOSE HEAVY COATS!!!!!! (or layers of thick clothes)

Just who are those Agent Provocateur?

Agent Provocateur was founded by Joseph Corré and Serena Rees. Corré is the son of British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and Sex Pistols‘ ex-manager, Malcolm McLaren. SUMMER TIME Part 1

For some 4 Seasoned Coutries around the world, Summer is coming or maybe, it’s already here. For Singapore Tropical Country, Summer is never ending season, ONLY it get’s hotter in mid year, somewhere around this time. And around this timing of the year, you may find Singaporean men and women dipping themselves down into cold pool or bath themselves heavily under the sun of East Coast Beach Or at one of the tourists attraction places like SENTOSA ISLAND!!!!

I called this hot season in Singapore as BIKINI SEASON, where all the babes start to gear themselves with various styles of bikinis or swimwear. I am unexceptional. I loved to tan under the sun and swim. And speaking of the most daily celebrated season here in Singapore, I am one of those girls and women, who is particularly enamored of bikini and stylish swimwear (if I decided to protect myself from those intense scrutinies from all of typical man-kind… lol).

I did a lot of E-shopping (which I can’t stop myself from getting addicted to) for Bikinis & Swimwear. First of all, I wanted to thank one of the fellow twitters, who introduced me another swimwear I never heard of, Ujena. Let’s us take a look first on some of the desings of Ujena I fond of.

I loved the design on Ujena 4; It is  ‘Summer-ry’, Earthy, Playful, Young and Sexy… It’s definately one of the styles, which described me well. Ujena 1 goes cutesy and I am glad to say that they are not over doing it… The ruffles top reveals the girlish side and overall  it also, gives you a touch of the womenly side. If you look at the bottom… It’s indescribably perfect for those who are skinny and flat bottomed; it adds texture and volume on your hips and butts. In short, Ujena 1 is good to go for those, who lacked of cleavages in a right way. Overall reviews on Ujena, they give you a wide ranges of designs, which serve different purposes. Who don’t want to reveal what you have and hide what you don’t wanna show? In Bikini & Swimwear,  Ujena gives you the never ending comfort level of choices not only on styles but the cuttings, which is suitable to your body type to look sexy, healthy and the level of confidence you are looking for.BTW, for those who are wondering and scrutinizing the models, please! The Next Big ‘Fashion’ Thing-Maurie and Eve

HOW many times must I consistently remind myself not to ‘E-shop’ too much! Gonna get ‘Overdosed’ from Fashion Pills!

Anyway, I can’t grab hold onto my weakest spot, when it comes to fashion. My whole body nerves systems operated my whole body Operations to share with you, All Ladies out there; my FABULOUS FASHION FINDINGS.

And Speaking of the Fashion Findings……… I landed myself in one of the top-notch Australian Fashion Brands, named Maurie and Eve. The Designers behind it are none other than Kelly Davies, Maya Clemmensen and Scott Davies. Seems like Things are Better in TWOS or THREES! So, Irresistibly, let me share with you some of the designs I fell in Love with. (Upon seeing what I am seeing, I almost thought I am dead! due to the attack of ‘Fashion Suffocation’. But, dying to wear them on the street someday got the better of me, I’m awaken!!!)

My New Findings, SASS AND BIDE

HOW I love OZ Designers. So Much, sharing with you, young women and youngsters has becoming a simply irresistable and inevitable things to do, ESPECIALLY when it comes to SASS AND BIDE!

Here are some of the latest designs from Sass and Bide’s Winter Collection ‘09. (After you seen the pictures, you must be wondering how they managed to withstand the cold below 18 Degrees Celsius weather with those thin clothes).

See What I meant by more suited to our weather in Singapore? Anyway, I love the clothing number 2, where it offers not extremely, too revealing ‘day clothing’, yet it’s also, elegant enough to be worn for dinner events. I CAN’T STOP reading this book. As a normal woman being, I can’t stop myself for wanting to know What Men really Want. I have my own fair shares of dating and being in serious relationships and yes, over and over again I ended up myself getting hurt countless times.

This book is about life of a workaholic, talented yet underpaid journalist, who stayed together with her boy friend. Yes, they have a great life together; great chemistry and sex, plus she, being a great woman, who is beautiful enough, do meals and do hv a career, at least she is not that useless afterall. However, things changed so quickly, by just an unfateful event, when they have to be apart from each other on Christmas due to her work commitment, where eventually her bf left her for another woman; a hot & sexy model, who works on the same campaign as he is & who got all the toys she ever wanted; thanks to her dad too, who owned a shipping company.

After knowing all these, I couldn’t and I can’t stop wondering, What Men Really Want in their Women? Is it an ego thing, they can’t get enough with? Or is it, really the fabulous & unbelievably fantastic women, they are having by their side, just don’t measure up ENOUGH for them to stay faithful?Is it true that men being, just do not have the ‘Unwavering Love’ Quality in them? What is good enough for them? and When it’s Enough, Is it really Enough?

What we loved to take home

THE findings happened during my stay in Australia-Wollongong, NSW.

As usual Australians Thursday routine; shopping in closest malls in small town ’til 9 pm. For Singaporeans like us, it’s pretty unusual & you ladies might not gotten used to the early-closed-shopping-malls lifestyle. To make things worst, Thursday is the only day for you ladies, to shop ’til your wallet burst! Other days? Closed @ 5pm, unfortunately, and even earlier during weekend, needless to know more.

@ that fateful day, I came across, BABE! A Local Australian brand, which collections ( I find), is inspiring. I can say that the design, esp for Summer season, is suitable for us, Singaporean, who lived in Ever-Summer Country. Practically wearable, in short & at the same time, it offers us chic-street look & some of it’s design can be very lady-liked, elegant, great 9-9 look; which you can wear them out to bar after your office hour(typical Singaporean lifestyle).

I did a research and found out the designer behind ‘BABE’, Kirrily Johnston, a contemporary Melbourne designer, who owns her boutique in USA, UK, New Zealand and Asia.  Before I shared with you more about her brand’s whereabout, Let me reveal to you some of her designs, which I loved to add them into my wardrobe collections soon.

I am a Fanatic Fan of Christian Lou. and Manolo B. Shoes. Well, yes they are costly and especially at this time of economic chaos. I started to look around for cheaper shoes via internet; to see if there is any other shoes with cheaper cost and yet, still served to compliment our feet, equally as fashionable as Christian and Manolo.

Chapter 6b: What a Big Circle to Love Destination

First of all I would like to apologize for the long disappearance and also, for coming to a conclusion, not to continue for the Love story no 2 as I promised from the tv sitcoms, “7th Days”.

Bottom line is those stories have moved me deeply by how much they love each other and treasure each other, despite living in an exactly complicated society as we are in. I’m quite skeptical, being very-very honest. Living in a generation with zillions of choices, we, as a perfectly human being, take things for granted completely and in as much as we loved so many people around us, we choose to put a certain boundary in our very own feelings to be “IN-LOVE”. God knows when the trend started, but the trend continues on up ’til today.

In the sitcom, I admit I found it a little bit draggy at times, but I have to accept the fact, it really happened in real life. 2 very different couples choose different routes to find out that they truly love each other; One is because the woman was struck by inherited Multiply cancer genes and unfortunately, she will not live long and this whole drama has made the other half realise how important she is to him and then, eventually, of course treasure her even more. Another stories, also went around a whole round of big circle; where after a relationship to another, a long distance between them and another 3rd party later, the couple found out how much they truly love each other and again, Treasuring each other like as if there is no tomorrow.

In real lfe, I have a couple friend, whom just like in the drama series;  went through a lot of obstacles; they broke up and made up frequently and until there was a time, when they make a longest break ever in their r/s; being with someone elses, living their own lives and it turns out to be blessings in disguise; It was like the greatest revelation ever in their life, where they finalised that as a matter of fact-ly, they truly love each other still and decided to be together. They are now, blissfully in love and treasuring each other like there is nothing else for them to treasure any longer (including me. HAhaha). Sometimes, I wonder, must we, and really…. must we go through a lot of hurdles in relationship, just to find out how much we meant to each other? Is that the only answer to treasure each other even more? Or is that the only way to the answer if you just love him/her or indeed you are In-Love-With him/her?

Maybe I am a straight forward person. When I love, I truly Love and i’ll go ahead. I didn’t say going through a big circle just to find out an answer is wrong. As I mentioned, at times, it might be necessary and who knows… Either you break it or you make it….. better. It’s just me, that at times i just hate the “hussle” to go through it.

Either way, I always believe in only one thing. When it comes to love, to me…. I never give myself another option. Dating is perfectly normal… That’s when i’ll take my time to assess the potential. And when I decided to love and being in relationship, TREASURE is the next step to an ever lasting love. In relationship, I always treat it as if we were not together yet… Everyday in my relationship, I made it as if it was the 1st day when we started the r/s, where we were still in “honeymoon” period; Being crazy over him like the first day of the r/s, keeping the vibe constant and steady, always wanted to know more about him even though we were already hitting our 2nd year of our r/s, ALWAYS ALWAYS Interested in things he did and appreciate him, all focus on him, everything and anything exactly like the first day, just that maybe, some other day, I’ll do even better.

The main thing is, I hope readers will always remember a thing or two in keeping their relationship blissful. If you can’t remember a lists of the key to blissful relationship, at least remember; TREASURE and APPRECIATION.

Chapter 6a : 7th Day

I have been hooked to one of the best TVB Hong Kong Series. It’s about love stories of 2 different couples. The title of the show is “7th Day” (in English). For Direct Chinese translation (for easy search for you people who are interested to find it online) it would be “The Most Beautiful, 7th day”. —> Dude, I’ve tried my best.

I teared for the last 10 episodes and let me share with you why? 

One of the couples, named Jia-En and ZiYing, somehow brought together by Jia-En’s dog. By fate, they were together despite Jia-En’s misconceptions of his outlook behaviours; like a gangster, frequent job-hopper and don’t-care-attitude. They went through Jia-En’s father, who, like her in the beginning has a wrong judgment in regards of his behaviours, however zhiYing made a promise to her father to be someone and that he will proves him that he is capable to take care of Jia-En and he will find a job as an interior designer. Together, too they went through all problems brought upon ZiYing’s father, who constantly borrowing money from his son and his mother and left them with his own humongous debts. He even made used of Jia-En’s kindness and cheated her to lend him money with an excuse of dealing his business. Together, they also go through many differences in them, where Zhi-Ying learnt to be opened up with each other in their relationship if he treats the relationship seriously. This is the point where he decided he should share with Jia-En about the secret of his former girl friend, who was down with an incurrable disease, Aids and has been hiding in Japan to avoid her father; afraid for bringing disgrace to her father as he is a professor in a university and that he is a Christian and therefore ZhiYing has been protecting her and promised not to reveal the secret to anyone, including her father. ZhiYing was accused for being a murder and responsible for the dissappearance of the professors daughter for 5 years, for that cause. Yet, Jia-En still believes in him despite rumours and stand by him. She flew to Japan to find him and together, they took care of Zhi-Ying’s former girl friend. Jia-En truly have faith in Zhi-Ying’s love towards her. Jia-En fainted halfway when they supposed to meet at the bridge and forced to go back to Hong Kong by her father, who made a trip down to Japan to look for her. 

JiaEn was found with nose cancer and what can be worst than having multiply cancers heritaged by her mother, who died due to multiply cancers. Not wanting ZhiYing to get sad over her illness, she lied to him that she was no longer in love with him. ZhiYing unwilling to let go and refused to give up on her;  looking for her continuously(how man… I love this kinda man) and trying to find out the truth but to no avail. Until one day, when Jia En lost the will to fight and her father got to beg him to talk to her into fighting her illness, he knew he wants to fight the battle together with her. To cut the story short, JiaEn allowed him to fight the battle together with her in the end. By the way, the most touching part is when ZhiYing trying to get her back, he drew the design of Jia-En’s dream house and as a result the “Our Dream House” interior design won a competition. 

ZhiYing make sure everyday is a happy day for JiaEn and asked her to live as if her illness didn’t exist at all. They got married and still, living each day based on 50-50 possibilities that another type of cancer might just grow again. 

Jia-En was yearning to bear a child for ZhiYing, not wanting him to lead a lonely life, in case she died. However, she might need to go through many processes to make sure her illness will not be passed down to her child; her healthy needs to be careful selected. ZhiYing worried, however he knows her intentions clearly and supported her idea.

Halfway, the pregnancy, a tumour was found in her brain. She refused to abort the child and get rid of the tumour, which was only the size of a coin then. 7 months in her pregnancy, she got her relapsed and her tumour is growing. She has to bear the child 2 months earlier and proceed to her tumour surgery. Before the tumour surgery, Zhiying made a promise to her that he will bring her to places she has been wanting to go, snowy place in Japan. The operation was a success and as promised, zhiYing brings Jia-En to the same place every Year at that season. Sadly, JiaEn left him and their daughter, 6 months after their 5th trip. And on the 6th Trip ZhiYing brought their daughter to that exact place instead. 

Their stories truly, move me a lot. Their determinations and their selfless love is so empowering. What made me really teared is knowing Jia-En is living in what i named it as “Borrowed Time”, to spend good short life time with zhiYing and their daughter. ZhiYing, knowing he is living in very limited time with JiaEn, treasured every moment with her, loving her to the very inch. 

Sometimes, I thought this kind of story only happened in a modern fairy tale. I hope it can happened to me too. Not as in having cancer, but it’s the truth; If only we live as if there is no tomorrow, this world might be a better place, loving and treasuring each other. 

And I know, in relationship, I do treasure… 

By the way, in the end of the series, this is what they share, 

“God has created the heaven and the earth and many creatures in 7 Days. He presented the most beautiful things to the man in the world. Therefore, when you live in this world, no matter what you have been going through, If you know how to treasure, All things coulge be the most beautiful.”
